Nuestra historia
En 1892, Florsheim Shoes comenzó en una pequeña fábrica en Chicago, Illinois. Hemos crecido bastante desde entonces y hemos ganado la reputación de estar a la vanguardia de las últimas tendencias, mientras nos mantenemos fiel a nuestro legado de estilo clásico y mano de obra de calidad. Desde la selección de materiales hasta las costuras, prestamos atención a los detalles más pequeños porque sabemos que te importa tanto como a nosotros.
Milton Florsheim inicia The Florsheim Shoe Company en Chicago. La primera tienda minorista Florsheim abre poco después. A medida que los zapatos ganan popularidad, aparecen en revistas como The Saturday Evening Post y The Cosmopolitan.

I've been wearing Florsheims since I joined the Army in the early 80's. They always fit, they are comfortable for daily wear and even now after I retired, I bought a pair to wear with my (civilian) tux.If you need a pair of dress shoes, these are them...sizes seem to vary between brands so they fit like my Nike's or my Ariats.

Don't bother with Steven Madden or Browns or anything else. These are it! They look better, they are built better, they are the same price and they are so comfortable!

With formal wear I try to stick to the classics. I've had the same tux for over 30 years - it's never been in style or our of style. I wanted the same in my patent shoes: classic, elegant and ageless - hence the cap toe oxford. You can find cheaper shoes on line but given how long I'll likely have these (as I am unlikely to wear them more than a handful of times in a given year), I preferred to invest in something with a bit more quality of materials and craftsmanship. I think Floesheim shoes provides a good balance between quality and value. Sizing was as expected, which having a narrow foot meant that it was a bit loose at the heel for me, but nothing to worry about unless I get the urge to bust some serious moves on the dance floor.

Patent leather is good, slightly expensive for the type of sole being provided. Overall ok pair of shoes

Elegant shoes that go incredibly well with a tuxedo. These are by far the most comfortable tuxedo shoes I've seen and tried. I'm so happy that they make these in wide sizes, which are generally hard to come by, especially in dress shoes. With very little effort, I was also able to remove the insoles to insert my own orthotics. Makes for a perfect shoe!!
