Have used this for a while and has been the most reliable pump. Used it to drain a tank. Drain a hot tub etc.

We ran into a slight issue during first assembly where it looked like they upgraded a part but neglected to include the proper connector for the larger connections. The old-smaller-connector was included, so I know it must have been either an error or newly upgraded component and an oversight. Kind of inconvenient, but seller promptly express shipped the required component at no charge - 5 stars for customer service. If I would have needed it sooner, I probably could have sourced the part locally, but they were nice enough to send it at no charge.As for the pump -This thing moves the water! It does work well to pump water at a good pace. It does have a valve to limit the water flow, if needed. I am still unsure (didn't ask) whether or not the pump can handle a hose nozzle on/off without hurting the pump. I tested it and it seems like it goes to a lower power mode when the valve is off and kicks up when the valve is opened, but never shuts off. So you for sure need to unplug it when you're done using it. I really like the handle as you can adjust it to sit the proper distance down in a rain barrel. It also has a grate to avoid sucking in anything that my hurt the impeller which is super easy to open and clean, if needed. Not sure on longevity, but for ease of use and function, this gets 5 stars. If it fails before summers over I'll be sure to update the review.

I purchased two pumps and even after one stopped working, I contacted the company due to their 1 year manufacture warranty.WOW - Great customer service and help to fix my pump. I look forward to being a long time customer for any future pump purchases.

Works well. Use it to water my horses. Loses a little power going uphill but that's to be expected. Attaches to the hose by a plastic piece going into the pump which is annoying when you have to move the pump. Had a piece break off the hose attachment but customer service was awesome and they sent me the piece I needed plus an extra one right away. Shouldn't have a problem like that If you don't plan on moving the pump a lot.

I bought this specifically to use with my 250 gallon rain water tank to water my garden. I was having issue with gravity as the tank was not high enough from the ground. I just submerge this pump into the tank , plug it in and away we go! I used it for up to an hour non stop and no issues at all. Good suction. Its worth every penny and then some. Remember to clean the filter after each use which s very easy to do.
