Meter is ideal for single and 3 phase power as well as solar or other DC since it can measure DC amps via the clamp. Fluke connect is a plus for remote monitoring and PM work. Being able to determine phase rotation is a plus for motors. Non contact voltage measurement is a nice feature for identifying cable runs. Big meter but it is the goto meter for everyday use..

I love using the meter working on electrical upgrades on my home. Used it for working on my HVAC units and my main power panel in my garage. Works great! If you do work on electrical systems or on electric motors, this meter does not disappoint. I have used Fluke meters for years in the lab when I was working; they're always dependable.

Received a later version with minor difference in the bag. It has a strap in the middle of the stretchy strings.Took some time to figure out the value of Fluke 378 FC. This awesome meter is about Speed and Convenience in taking measurements.Apparently, firmware can be updated via Fluke Connect (app for US only I think). Mine was 1.01.00.378 allows my work flow to be more efficient. The body is solid. Form factor a tad larger than the 376 but feels awesome in the hand.I love the 378. Having my situation awareness widened in the shortest time possible is an amazing experience.If... you are working on high voltages or AC, don't have a clamp meter yet, looking for better workflow, working on compressors or motors a lot, taking quick measurements from phase to phase, and hate to stick probes around, THIS IS EXCELLENT.If you want precision, always looking for the decimal in the reading and working on low voltage stuff, the CLAMP ain't for you. You will need to use the probes with the 378. High accuracy and precise reading isn't what the clamp on 378 was designed for. We need the test probes for that. I also got the Fluke 289 for high accuracy and precision work.This is special because,• Field-sense works well for me. Especially when taking a quick successive approximations of Current and Voltage.IMPORTANT ground/earth this meter properly when using Field-sense. Failure to so will cause Voltage accuracy to go off by huge proportion. New users tend to make this mistake.I use Field-sense to look for Voltage anomaly, not exactly "240.5V" for example, but 238V to 245V are acceptable.• Doing 3-Phase measurements and getting a quick feel of the situation on different circuits in a panel has been a joy.Reading phase rotation is possible only on the Fluke Connect app. US only.• In-rush Current logging is my No. 1 feature when working on motors.Special Feature: Power Quality (PQ) analysis (Current, Voltage and Power Factor) is a useful feature but doesn't have a lot of details like a number. Sensitivity can be adjusted from High, Medium to Low. Not having this feature isn't a deal breaker.When using this meter, my head will either be in...1. VALIDATION. Quickly clamping around a set of circuits to understand the territory. Usually just to make sure there's nothing weird, Or2. HUNTING. Troubleshooting a system by hunting down the source of anomaly or failure.Fluke Connect app is useful but not necessary unless you want to stand far away from what you are measuring, logging or updating an earlier firmware.The 378 FC is nice to have but not necessary in majority of cases, especially if you already have the 376. I got the 376 and loving it as well.Got the 378 out of curiosity. Anything that can make my work safer and faster is a money making tool.If you don't do all the above, it's a nice trophy to have. Love yourself.

Demasiada variación en la lectura del voltaje con la pinza y ese se supone es el plus y lo mejor de este amperimetro por lo tanto, no se puede confiar en los resultados, mejor el 376 fc y por menos de la mitad del precio de este!
