This was for a joke. I use these in the package and gave everybody one and told everyone to wind them up and let them go when the person started opening gift it was great

They're kind of cheap, but nothing unexpected. It was a fun joke, and then people wanted them so I gave them away.

I teach preschool and call my kids my little chickens/chicky-pies so these were PERFECT for my end of year gifts to them. I bought plastic jumbo Easter eggs to put them in and they fit perfectly. My cons were that a few chicks needed the legs pushed back in (super easy and quick to do) but one was defective in that the legs were not and could not be attached to the mechanism - luckily I only had 13 students but keep that in mind if you have no wiggle room for extras. Otherwise they were a huge hit and the kids were obsessed with watching them peck around.

I got these for my 1-2 graders as we just hatched chicks in our classroom. We had so much fun having races with them. These were perfect for my kiddos.
