Nice lock box. Nice lock. Easy to install and works as one would expect. Super secure as far as I am concerned. Heavy. Heavy duty, for the most part. I have a more expensive lock box on my other container that I am comparing it to, so you have to keep that in mind. The paint is super bright blue, which I find odd. It is also badly scratched in two places that cause concern and had to be touched up. I do not mind that the bolt are actually welded to the box, but I do think that the backing plate is much thinner than I like to see. Installed easily and the lock works very well. For the price you cannot go wrong. The other that I have is much heavier duty and is also closer to $100 without a lock.

This armored box lock cover through bolts to one door and when that door is closed it covers the lock hasp. The lock is inserted in the covering box where you cannot reach it with other tools to cut if off. It is a simple devise that works quite well.

Installed on my connex shipping container. I bolted it AND welded it on.It's a good armored lock kit, heavy duty.

I got this for an old shipping container that did not come with a lock box. My newer ones all have them, so I have gotten used to using them. But I got an older unit that did not have one and I decided to try adding one on. I bolted it for now, but I plan to bring a welder out and make it permanent.I ordered another one because I need a secure way to close up a vending machine money door that has been previously vandalized. The original lock isn't holding too well with the bent metal, so I'll just bolt this over it and make it 1000% more secure.The locks that come with these are very nice. Probably some of the best "free" locks I've seen included. Solid aluminum bodies, with a hardened shaft. The keys are also very cool sideways pins, I suppose that makes it harder to pick or something.
