This is a solid, BIG, cigar tube! All metal. Your stick will be very safe in this tube. As other reviews suggested, the tread at either end takes a while to unscrew/screw, but is finely done. Can be a bit annoying but doesn't compromise the product integrity. I added two sheets of Spanish cedar to the tube and some cedar chips at the bottom, and with the built in humidifier, this is a functional tube to have. Will keep your stick safe and fresh! Think I'll buy another!

Keeps your larger cigars safe and fresh. Both ends twist closed thightly. Strong enough to protect your cigar safely in your pocket. Highly recommend.

I didn't buy this as a "cigar saver" but rather to store an unlit cigar that I would bring to work and keep it from drying out before I have a chance to take a smoke break. With the included humidifier I have to say that it was exactly what I needed, especially since I live at 8000+ ft elevation. The winters are bone dry up here. I can also say that although the description of the item advertises "up to 56 ring gauge", the more affordable sticks I've purchased for everyday smoking during my shift are 60 ring gauge and yet they have no problem fitting in. Even have a little wiggle room. However, a 56+ BOX SHAPED cigar might not fit so well. All in all I'm very happy with this inexpensive cigar tube and intend to buy another one so that I can have one to keep an unlit stogie clean and fresh, and another to store the cigar in between smoke breaks after I've put it out.

Solid heavy construction. Mat black finish.I love it.Big ring Guage, holds my biggest cigars.Built in humidor too.

This thing is great, it even fits a lighter in it! I use it primarily for my greens and my lighter but have tried it with a cigar and works good with that too. It's definitely smell proof, I can tell ya that ;) . Only downside is dang it feels like it take forever to to unscrew this thing, it's got a lot of threads for the cap to screw on. Overall, I like it and it's great for travelling!
