The Fowler X test was a replacement for a 40-year-old interapid indicator made in Switzerland that indicator is the best one I have ever used I have worked as a tool and die maker now for 40 years and I'm getting very close to retirement so the old one broke the other day and I needed another one and I saw the Fowler X test so I bought it and it works very well I have been very pleased with it and will continue to use it until I retire.

The 0.06 travel is awesome and replaceable tips are great very smooth no side to side travel like spi indicators
