¿Qué es un Popover?
Un popover es un rollo ligero hecho de una masa de huevo (sin levadura! ), horneado en una sartén especial que comparte su nombre, que tiene pozos profundos con lados de pared recta. Su origen está inspirado en inglés. Los colonos de Maine que fundaron Portland, Oregon americanizaron el pudín de Yorkshire.
Receta Popover perfecta
- Mezcla los huevos, la leche y la sal en una licuadora. Añadir la harina, seguido de la mantequilla derretida.
- Deja reposar la masa mientras el horno se precalienta.
- Caliente la sartén en el horno caliente y luego cubra con spray antiadherente.
- Llena las ranuras con la masa.
- Hornea a 232 °C durante 20 minutos, luego reduce el fuego a 350 °F y hornea otros 10 minutos.
- Retirar del horno y perforar la parte superior con un cuchillo de emparejamiento para liberar vapor.
- Sácalos de la sartén y servir inmediatamente con mantequilla

Well made, sturdy and clean looking very pleased with its performance , does not stick if sprayed with pam easy cleanup and no unsafe surfaces to worry about

Stainless steel won’t rust or no teflon coating to come off, nothing sticks to it, I put a little Pam spray on it after it preheated.easy to clean, popovers slid right out .

This Fox Run 4757 6-cup popover pan is made of stainless steel. The listed dimensions are 2.4 x 8.7 x 15 inches. The 'pan' is constructed of six stainless steel popover tins, all welded to a frame. Be sure to oil all surfaces thoroughly, as your popovers will readily stick if not (ask me how I know). My wife has tried this pan on about a half-dozen occasions, and hasn't been able to get the popovers to rise as they are supposed to, but it's probably about the recipe, weather or technique and not the pan. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
