I love that it has the grip paint on it for the wrench. Makes it easier when you don’t have much room to turn it. Doesn’t crush if some idiot over tightens it.

It fit well. I used this filter along with a magnetic oil pan drain bolt and pleased to have not seen any metal on the magnetic bolt. I just did an oil change and it worked fine.It sits under the engine where no one can see it. Maybe I can write a novel style story like the classics?It was the best of times and it worked fine. It was the worst of times and it worked fine. It was a dark and stormy night and it worked fine. I took the road less traveled and it worked fine. A tree fell and it made a sound and the filter worked just fine. I went over the hills and through the woods and it worked fine. Country roads, take me home and it worked fine. Working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living but it worked fine. Drove my Chevy to the levy and it worked fine. Summer breeze and it worked fine. I climbed the highest mountains but still couldn’t find what I was looking for and it worked fine.So, many thanks to Fram for making some good products.

With gas prices so high, I don't understand people who try and save a buck or two on the oil and air filters...I've been using these for YEARS and have a VERY clean engine with over 360,000 miles on it! It seems to be made out of higher quality filter material and keeps my oil cleaner longer.Also, the gripping surface really DOES make removing it easier.
