I usually buy my Franco Sartos at a major dept store when I stumbled onto these on Amazon. Based on reviews, I went up a size, but it was still too tight. Would have been better off going with a wide width instead, but they didn't have my size. I ended up returning it, and look often to see if my size is in. I do prefer a leather shoe; these are man-made and therefore, definitely no stretching them over time. Nice color.

I bought black, size 7 Franco Sarto Women’s Edith Loafer.These are expensive shoes. But that’s ok because they looked like great quality and I don’t mind paying for quality. Advertised as both leather and faux leather (?). Reputable brand. An investment. No problem.I bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe. I put them on with socks to make sure that they would be comfortable enough to wear for touring- I never went outside for one minute with them on. The attached photos are the result of wearing them inside my home, walking around occasionally, for about 6 hours.Pros- style. These are a super stylish shoe. I have an average width foot and they fit nicely. They definitely need to be “broken in” for my purposes as I need to be able to walk in them for 12+ hours a day.Cons-Poor quality. After such little indoor wear, I was flabbergasted to see the deterioration of this shoe. The upper is a nice leather but the sole is rubber. This shouldn’t be an issue as I have many other rubber soles shoes that have lasted. However, with these it appears there is only a thin layer of “paint?” that colours only the outside of the sole. And it’s already peeling and wearing off. See the photos.Price. These are expensive shoes. The price listed for me to replace them currently was $250+ and for the quality of them this is purely NOT acceptable! A big cost for a pair of shoes that look like year old shoes after not even a full day of wear - INSIDE! I can’t image what they will look like with a few days of outdoor wear.I am SO disappointed. I’ve owned other Franco Sarto shoes and never have seen this lack of quality.If you are planning on spending your hard earned money for a pair of leather loafers, I would keep looking. These don’t look cheap at first, but they will after the first wear for sure.

I got the 11W, I have a slightly wide foot. The extra space in the almond toe and width is perfect. There’s a little bit of space for comfort or swelling (I work on my feet), and the leather is beautiful. Recommend to anyone looking for a stylish loafer that isn’t a platform or grandma-ly.

Love pink and got these to wear with various summer outfits. Fits well, size 10, average width so not for wide feet. Soft leather and looks beautiful on. Huge fan of Franko Sarto shoes and have many in my collection. I wear my shoes inside so last for years.

Decided to give these a try based on reviews. I have a narrow foot and narrow heel and these fit great. I ordered my usual size and these were perfect, with a touch of room in the toes which I like. Since they are a narrow fit, they stay on and are so comfortable to wear for a full day. Bought the patent and will also get a regular leather pair.
