Pretty flimsy. Purchased a more expensive one thinking it would be sturdier. Still works though

I really appreciated the case and extra support strings built into the setup. The instructions were a little vague for the support strings, but we got there in the end. The set was well used by a wide range of ages. The yellow birdie was difficult for one person to see in the afternoon.

This is the perfect backyard badminton set. It's great for the casual user, and my kids and I love it!I was worried after reading several reviews about quality, but then realized that I really didn't have much to lose if it wasn't all the great, so I went for it.My set has been perfect. Set up is quick and easy, yay, tho it does require two people. (But when is one ever playing badminton solo?)The rackets are excellent quality, and the entire thing comes in a great carrying bag so it's easy to bring to the park or beach.While it only comes with two birdies, I picked up an extra set of 6, and they also fit into the carrying bag. (Well, inside the bag is a box, and the box perfectly fits in the bag, so I've been trying to keep that together, not for any particular reason, but just because it's sturdy feeling that way.)Even if it was more expensive, I have nothing but love for this set!!

Obviously, at this price, you're not getting a high-end badminton set. What you are getting is a perfectly acceptable set for intermittent play (if you're going to be playing seriously or frequently, I would go ahead and invest in a higher quality set). I've played with this set about 4 times since I bought it and everything works just fine for me. The rackets are decent and the net isn't too hard to set up and take down. The whole set is very light and comes in a convenient carrying case, so it's super easy to take with you if you want to take this to a park to play.I would definitely not leave the net up for a long period of time, though, as heavy wind would probably wreck it. The birdies are very cheap and quite small, so I recommend picking up an additional pack of birdies if you're going to do much playing. I use the birdies that came with this set whenever I play with my toy poodle (she loves it when I whack birdies for her to chase and bring back to me).**** Update ****I had to take off a star because of how easily one piece on my net broke (one of the little plastic hooks). I was able to fix it with superglue, but I'm still a little annoyed that it broke that easily. For something so essential for keeping the net up and the poles upright, it really ought to be made with either higher quality plastic or, preferably, a better material. I still say the set is, overall, a great value, since you get four rackets and since the rackets are decent enough for quite a bit of casual fun.

This set is better then I would have expected. I bought it for my husband and I to use on the weekends. We play with our families and friends of all ages. It's perfect.RACKETS: The rackets are wonderful, quality made, well-strung and bouncy when the shuttlecock hits them. You couldn't buy better rackets if you tried.NET: The net is good for playing casual games outside in the yard. It sets up easy and is HUGE. I didn't expect the net to be so long! Can't complain with the quality, it's just what I was looking for.BIRDIES: The shuttlecocks are the only thing you could complain about. It comes with two cheap ones, but they're usable. I would recommend buying a set of nicer birdies to go along with this amazing net and racket set.Wonderful set that came at a great price! ^w^ I would recommend to anyone of any age.
