these aren't the thin flimsy plug and caps, they are thick and fit very snug. They are rather expensive but so is the stuff they are protecting.

I only needed the cap not the plug. I have a 2" eyepiece for which I managed to lose the cap for the bottom. The cap in this set fit perfectly so no complaints.I do wish I could find a slightly softer silicone/rubber type of cap, which is what the eyepiece came with originally, but those seem to be tougher to come by. Even the manufacturer of the eyepiece I was replacing this for no longer sells their new eyepieces with the softer rubber type caps and has switched to this harder plastic cap for the bottom, to my dismay.

Common size 2" Outside and Inside cap and plug for telescopes. Fits well.
