I was putting my printed music into ordinary plastic sheet protectors but anytime I wanted to write on the my music sheets, I had to take them out, make my notes then put them back in. Doable put a pain. These protector sheets are different and very easy to load. On both sides of a plastic sheet, there is an open strip along the top and a strip with a closed bottom on the bottom of the sheet. The center of the sheet is open. Just slip your music sheets in through the top slot. Now you can write on the music sheet without having to unload it first. You can put a music sheet on each side of the protective sheet and that makes it sturdy. These protective sheets have 3 ring binder punched holes, you can use them with a regular binder notebook. That makes it easy to rearrange your music in the order you like. There are music books with the same open type of protective sheet and you can still write on the music sheet but the sheets are bound to the binder cover so they can't be rearranged. You have to pull the music sheets out of the protective sheet and shuffle them back in around the other protective sheets.) Both types have their purpose. I have both kinds.

I love these folder sleeves for my music. I can write on my music without removing the music from the sheet protectors. 5 stars all the way!

Put my Christmas music in the protectors and will be buying more. Easy to write on and of course no glare!
