Easy to use, great for little hands, but children still must be watched. Used this25 years ago.

Yes they keep your doors or drawers secured and they are easy to unlatch, BUT my baby’s strength managed to pull the strap all the way out :(

If you are trying to child/baby proof your house this is a great set to get. Plenty of outlet covers to take care of all the outlets in your house - or at least 24 of them (48 plugs). Those are a bonus.The real product was the sliding door locks. They are great. I doubt it would stop someone outside from getting in if they were determined but they are not for security from would-be break ins, they are meant to be for child safety from the inside and they work great for that.They stick on very well. My only concern is for the glass that faces the sun - I am hoping the hot sun in the summer doesn't soften the glue and make them fall off. We shall see over time about that.They are easy to engage and require 2 hands to disengage. That is good because a child cannot just push it down and disengage it. Now, if you are using them to keep an older child from getting a door open you will need to mount them high enough that they are out of reach because kids are too smart and they will figure it out sooner or later.

The sliding door locks are very small and easy to use. The two buttons on the side to release the lock is a smart and useful design to prevent kids from accidently pressing and opening the lock. It's very firm and requires a strong press to the sides to actually release the lock. The 3M adhesive on the back of the lock is super sticky and after plopping it onto my sliding door, I could not move it at all. I would confirm its placement before stationing it because it could be a hassle trying to remove it which could potentially not only damage the lock itself but the door as well. The instructions says it could be removed with a blow dryer but I would be careful with that since the entire lock is made from plastic. The pack also comes with an over abundance of outlet covers which is a nice bonus. There is 48 in total and that was more than enough to cover every outlet in my house that wasn't in use.
