only buy this if you need ACID-FREE adhesive; if you aren't using ACID-FREE paper, it is kind of pointless - (almost all) printer paper is not, (most) specialty art/photo/scrapbooking paper is. paperback books are usually not.and only buy this is you need DURABLE tape; this is overkill for taping photos into your scrapbook.

This is great for reinforcing a book binding, or even for joining a mat with a backing board for artwork. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

My Concordance was starting to show signs of stress on the binding and I used this tape to strengthen it from the inside. Its strong and durable while being flexable. Hard back books need a lot of spine support. Leaaving them upright on the shelf really puts stress on the spine because the paper isn't even with the shell so gravity just keeps the pressure on it. Using this tape can help fight that.

i had a cook book from my mother with alot of memories with a gazillion old recipes i grew up with that was falling apart. a hard cover and it was all split and old fixes were falling off. this tape just adherred immediately and now its completely usable. my wife said. "who knew you could buy that?" well im cookin with the book again. many colors and wide size.

I bought this 2”, white book binding tape for the spine of my MD Midori 1 Day 1 Page Notebook (AKA MD Midori Codex when sold and listed on Baum Kuchen’s website in CA). The notebook wasn’t falling apart but despite the design having the spine purposely exposed, I wanted to cover it with book binding tape to help it last a long time. It does seem very strong but does not destroy your notebook if you peel it up a bit to readjust (which I have had to). I’ll update this if it doesn’t hold over time. It does NOT prevent my notebook from laying flat or opening easily btw so that’s fantastic! I want to include photos but for some reason the Amazon app won’t let me and it keeps failing to upload images and videos.. so sorry!
