Price was great, a little too great to be true for how many hooks this included. I’d say I could get away with wearing a new set of hooks once without issue, but by the second or third wear, I’d get itchy and my ear lobe would turn red and rashy. I don’t know if it’s because I was sweating or oxidation just wore through the plating, but I can’t take that risk on my poor ears each time.Sure you could switch to a new pair of hooks every time you want to wear that pretty pair of non-hypoallergenic earrings but it may just be better to spend more on pure sterling silver earring hooks, not plated ones. Those might cost $2-3 per pair of hooks, so definitely a lot more but I’d spend more to avoid a health problem. Going to gift the remainder of this order to someone who doesn’t have sensitive ears.

I have a nickel sensitivity and can't usually wear fun, festive earrings. My ears usually become bright red, burn, and itch within 30 minutes. I bought these to make some resin earrings and I've worn them a few times for about 10 hours. I might change out the hooks on all of the earrings I've bought in the past with these!
