I bought the 72" for some banners. The quality is nice however from ground to shepard hook is only 60" so iam not sure if i have the wrong hooks or the 72 is an overall measurement. Which i did not see in the description. So i probably needed the 84 or 96 to cover my height need. So i am a little disappointed

i purchased these to hold hanging baskets. assembled them and put them in my garden with baskets on them. sprinkler system ran last night and the hooks fell over. Now these were pushed all the way into the ground, they were level with the ground just like the directions said to do. I tried to put them back up at full height, but they would not hold the baskets. I had to remove one of the 12 - 18" pieces in order to get them to stay upright. They still look very nice, just shorter. I do not know if the bottom spikes are not long enough or if the portion of the spikes that are horizontal to the ground isn't wide enough to hold a hook this tall when the ground is wet..... just be prepared they might need to be shorter than the description says in order to hold your plants

These are great. I really hope they don't rust up by seasons end. They are significantly lower quality to my shepherd hook from Ocean State but they are perfect for bird feeders or (what I bought them for) hanging solar lights. Anything lighter you with to display, these are great for. Heavier weight hooks are great for large hanging baskets etc but if you're not trying to break the bank on a heavy duty hook just to hang something small/light then yhese are for you.

Just be aware -- this is a tall shepherds hook that comes in sections. That renders the shaft portion relatively unstable as the joints tend to flex UNLESS one gets them very tight. The biggest issue is the in-ground spikes -- they are too short for hard ground. In soft ground one can push them further in, so just be aware.I have to say their customer support was incredibly responsive - and for this I upgraded my rating. They worked to resolve the issue. In Summary: Buy but make sure your ground is soft.
