I used this product to protect the bottom of my costly fishing kayak (Point65 Kingfisher modular kayak). I simply followed the manufacturer’s instructions and applied it to my kayak. It’s been over a year and it has done a great job of protecting my kayak from the scratches from the rocks on the boat ramp. I highly recommend this product.

I have purchased this product from Gator Patch and it worked excellent. I ordered the product from amazon and it arrived already set up and hard as a rock, was not pliable enough to use. Contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement that was in the same condition and was not useable.

I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent me a replacement unit and I installed it and it works! Their National Sales Manager communicated with me and I was very happy with the follow up!!!I followed the excellent instructions and viewed the online video and the material did not adhere to the keel. I am a fixer and tinkerer and I’m familiar with epoxies, etc. I had my doubts about this product and was so hopeful that it would adhere and protect my keel but it was not to be.

We used this product on the keel of sons kayak, absolutely amazing. Follow the directions and you can't go wrong. It is a little pricey in my opinion although cheaper than a new boat.

I’ve used my plastic kayak twice since patching; no leaks. I bought this patch after my hull filled with water and I searched for solutions online. Plastic welding seemed most people’s go to but I knew that was beyond me. This patch cost more but not as much as a new kayak. I guess that’s why they can charge so much for what seems like it couldn’t cost much to manufacture. I found a crack in a scupper hole and easily patched inside and out. I’ll use the rest to strengthen the keel. Once open, the package needs to be used within six months.
