I won't lie, I picked this one up because it was the fastest way to get my 3D printer up and running again, and planned to find some better fans down the road. Actually though, this one runs pretty quietly at 70% and has been running for 2,000 hours now. There is still a hum and pmw whine but not unbearable. Hard to beat that for the price with free shipping!I never did buy that other fan. I'll just rush another one of these in if my current one fails after this long!

Air blows. 5v from like usb socket is ok for it to work. Pretty quiet. Everything as written and as expected

Bought this to replace the worn out fan in my PureGuardian ultrasonic humidifier. That fan’s bearings were worn out and causing the fan to rattle really loudly. The dimensions of this fan matches the old fan, and even the plug was of the identical type. The wire polarity was reversed though. Surprisingly, this new fan came with instructions with colored pictures on how to switch the pinout of the plug. I was already familiar on how to do it so didn’t need it, but it’s good to see this level of attention to detail. Humidifier now runs nice and quiet again.
