The product description is misleading as this device is not a true surge surpressor. I'm an electrician and opened up mine after receiving it due to I was surprised to see no indicator lights to warn when the bar had received a surge that had disabled its protection. The bar itself has no internal surge surpression I descovered. That said, it is in fact a GROUNDED power bar that is relying on the innate surge surpression of whatever is plugged into this bar!For this to work, all the devices being plugged in MUST be NEWER devices and MUST be grounded. Additionally, this is a very limited protection... Every time a surge hits a device with this kind of protection without an actual surge surpression system (such as a true surge protector bar) it is like popping a pinhole in components and microchips until one eventually gives out and that devices fails.This bar is best used AFTER a single outlet surge surpressor. GE does make them and so does Balken and other manufacturers. I suggest you get one that is a GOOD one with a Money Guarantee for whatever you have plugged into that surge surpressor. Often they will say Guarantees up to $25,000 or more for example. They also usually have 2 lights one showing power on if a power bar and surge surpresson active or Ground is good and Surge Protection Active if single outlet.

Es de excelente calidad en los materiales, el tamaño del cable no es muy largo, pero para lo que lo necesito esta bien, es un cable que regula las descargas eléctricas súper útil para aparatos electrónicos.

Excelente y durable, ojo: él largo del cable es corto, funciona muy bien en el lugar en el que lo colocamos en casa, pero si buscas algo para conectar a cierta distancia, no te servirá.

Cumple con lo que dice ahí y me gusta su tipo de enchufe plano, pero si le hace falta un indicador de encendido, no tiene nada.

Buen producto espera que el cable fuera poco mas largo, lo que no me gusto es que dias despues salia mas barato de cuando lo compre

I love the flat plug, compact design and flexible braided cord.I don't like that there is no indicated light to show it is on and that there is not reset button.But it's great to have 6 outlets in such a small package.Update: I thought that this was a one time use surge protector as indicated by the instruction material but I was wrong. I inadvertently turned on two 1600 watt kitchen appliances plugged into it and it shut down. My main circuit breaker did not trip. I pressed the on/off button and power was restored. So the unit switched itself off by activating the switch by itself. The lack of a power indicator light made it more difficult to know if the unit was on or off so I had to press the button, try to power up an attached appliances, press the button again until I had power. But it did he job and did not burn itself out.
