the fans are great. they move air, and they are very quiet. as i mentioned in the title, i wish they moved a little more air, but you can't have everything. i really like the LED's as well. it adds a little color to something that is usually a little boring. one suggestion i would make. it would be nice if there were airflow direction arrows on the case.

The 4010 RGB replacement fans I received look identical to the original, except they have an extra blue wire for PWM speed control (internally pulled high to 3.3V = 100% fan speed when disconnected). Really strange given how low-speed these fans are. Only useful as on-off control, and even then I don't see the point. The blue wire can be left disconnected, or clipped, or connected to +3.3V. Fan dropped large GeekPi heatpipe-heatsink temperature by over 17°C on 3B+, however these fans are VERY LOW AIR MOVEMENT!UPDATE: I achieved an additional 20°C reduction! The included screws are much longer than the originals, and I noticed a large dead area from the body of the fan, so I added 4x spacers between the fan and heatsink using the supplied longer screws. I made the spacers from a plastic tube removed from a pump spray bottle, cut to roughly 10 mm in length, and adjusted using a nail file / emery board. The plastic tube was just the right diameter to fit into the fan screw recesses, and slightly larger than the screws themselves. I should add a cellophane tape shroud around the fan to improve airflow through the heatsink for even better performance.

I have a tower cooler on my raspberry pi but its getting old and the fan was looking gross, caked with old dust. I used one of these fans to replace it and it makes a huge difference, looks much cleaner. it was super easy to install, I just turned off the pi, swapped in this fan and turned it back on. the RGB LEDs look good, you dont need to plug in all 3 wires for it to work, it rotates colors.

Love the color changing leds. They move plenty of air and are pretty quiet. Used on a cooling stand for my DJI M3P makes it look sweet.
