Works well. Need brush to get all product out. Round shape would be easier to use. Very substantial item.

I had one of the run of the mill circular metal grinder for a while. Order this gold 3-layer one due to its shape and I fell in love with it. The shape makes getting a hold of the grinder much easier compared to the circle ones. And using magnets instead of threads make the process much more easier and satisfying. After having this new grinder for a few weeks, I decided to just replace my circle one with another one of these. I got the black 3-layer one since that was the only one left. OMG! This black one is EVEN BETTER than the gold one. Each layer is slightly taller and the corners are chamfered making the grip even easier to hold. The grind is flawless on this one, this has got to be the most slept on grinder.

Excellent design to hold onto when grinding herbs! Feels durable and heavy duty for a grinder.
