I had a cheaper version of one of these and saw this so I decided to upgrade. This thing works great! I love that you can screw in actual water bottles to it too. I haven't tried the breathing thing yet but everything else works great! The other one I had made the water taste a little funky. This one doesn't do that, if anything it actually makes it taste better. Battery life is also better on this one. I'm still not sure if these things actually make a difference health wise or not but it doesn't hurt so I'll keep using it.

I got the hydrogen water bottle bug this year and have tried out almost two dozen different brands trying to find the best quality and value combination.I know a number of people who said they didn't use their bottle because when it arrived there was already water in it. The company adds some water on purpose to help protect the ion membrane (I've seen it called a couple of different things, but this is the one coming to mind right now) and keep it hydrated. The first thing I check on a hydrogen water bottle is if it has a tiny hole on the bottom of the base (I have one where the hole is on the side). If it doesn't have the hole, I return it. If I can't return it, I throw it away; I don't want anyone else using it, either, because that hole is an exhaust so you don't end up drinking things like chlorine. Every bottle I've tested without a hole has had chlorine in it, and every bottle with an exhaust hole has not. This doesn't have a hole on the bottom, but it does have one on the top of the base so I take it that's the exhaust.I loosely consider this kind of water bottle in two groups: over $100 and under $100. Every bottle I've tried, and it seems like most of them that I've seen, have claimed to use SPE/PEM technology, but it's usually the ones in the over $100 group that have it. So when someone complains that a cheaper bottle will do the same thing, my experience is that it is rarely the case. I have found some exceptions though, and this is one of them at currently about $70.The charging lights are on the back of the base, so if you have it facing away from you while it's charging that's nice to have. The front is just a touch button. I really don't like touch buttons on these bottles because when I was just looking it over after taking it out of the box for the first time, I accidentally turned it on twice just by brushing the Power button. My understanding is you only want to run these with water in them, so that's not good. The USBC port on the back has no cover, it's just open. It's the first time I've seen that on one of these water bottles. You're not supposed to submerge the base, but it's still nice to have a port plug in case you spill water down the side. There is no line to show you how full to fill the bottle. I've seen a lot say to fill it 80%, but some that have Max lines that are higher than 80%, so I just guess at 80% on this one.It holds more water than a lot of bottles I've seen, which is nice, because I drink a lot of water and this way I don't have to have a small drink (like 7.5oz) and then wait for another cycle to have some more. It's the thinnest plastic I think I've used so far, but it seems fine.I like the style, and how the lid lines up with the bottle and the base. Some bottles you have to play with the threads to get everything to line up.As best I can tell, this just does cycles of 7 minutes. There is no LED timer to show you how much time is left in the cycle. After touching to start the cycle, it takes a few seconds for the bubbles to start. It's a fairly thin stream of bubbles compared to most others I've seen, but I've seen worse. The first time I ran it, after opening the lid there was no sound of pressure release, which you do want to hear. After that, I've heard pressure releasing after running a cycle.I like that it has a lifetime warranty.I tested the water for chlorine and parts per billion (PPB) of hydrogen. I think my hydrogen meter might be broken, though it flashed just under 3,000 before going back to 0. The test for chlorine was negative. As best I can tell, it works, and the price is good for one that actually takes the chlorine out of the water. I will probably give it to my son, who likes the way it looks, because I don't like the touch button, but to each his own =)Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

I just started using this elegant setup and I will include pictures later. There have been numerous medical studies touting the benefits of hydrogen water even on dogs and I plan on adding that to their fountain tomorrow. I know the results are cumulative so I am goi g to track our use and see how we feel! I think the main effect is that is has the benefits of antioxidants and with microplastics clogging our veins along with poor food choices and Teflon and PGAS I feel if something may very well help and at worst we’re just drinking more water- I’m okay with that.
