Was hard to install and adjust parking brake cable but it was necessary in order to pass state inspection. Fair Price for part. I took slow delivery since I was not in rush.

Worked fine for a 2004 Silverado 1500 v6. Having to uninstall it and re-install about 4 times while setting up the cables, it became an easy final install and fit same as the original. No problems.

Would not release when pin pulled. Then metal flake falling out when cycled. Will return asap

When I ordered this I wasn’t sure if I would get the real deal since it was so much less than my local stores or various online sources had it for. On arrival I was amazed that it was a real ACDelco part, brand new, and identical to the one I was replacing except for wear. Excellent value.Be careful during the removal of the old pedal and installation of the new one. It mounts in a very hard to reach area, has some heft to it and is surrounded by fragile wires and computer parts. Go slow, make sure you don’t drag any wires out, scrape any wires or smack anything. It takes time, but you can save a ton in labor.

Product installs but when trying to depress the parking brake pedal part of the assembly contacts the dash and does not allow engagement of parking brake. After getting unit fully installed I had to remove the unit and remove about of inch of extra material from the part of the assembly that moves when depressing the parking brake pedal. Upon investigating the unit is made slightly different from the factory part. The application data says this is compatible with 2003 Chevrolet Silverado HD. This unit does not seem to engage the parking brake as effectively either. I would like to return this in favor of 25780187 however I had to modify the part to make it work so I am not sure if this company will accept it for a refund. I would gladly pay the difference between this product and 25780187. Do not rely on the application data here. Remove your part first and make sure that the photo matches what you removed from your vehicle.
