These work well, but are inconsistently make, out of my small sample size 25% don’t fit the strobe head correctly.

These items do not fit the unit that it purports to work on - I have the AD200Pro and these things are useful. Don't cost enough to return - just throw them away - you were lied to like me.

It felt a bit tight at first and I dare not force it in. I then released the pressure knob (the only knob besides the bare bulb) and wala, it fits easily! I have 2uts and both fits well.

I wanted to be able to store my bulbs without necessarily having the bulb attached to the AD200 adapter. I need to pad the inside of the cover and secure the bulb inside without it sliding back and forth. But that's not what the protector was original designed for. It works best using it with the adapter for the bulb. That said, it's a little tight with actually putting it on. Make sure the tightening screw for the adapter is completely loosened and then rotate and slide the protector on. Happy with the purchase so far.

If you’re like me and don’t want to carry around separate little cases for all of your lighting gear, then this is great. I use them for my AD200/eVOLV bare bulb attachments and they work great to protect the bulb while in my lighting bag. I don’t know why this doesn’t just come with the lights to begin with.
