Great light for the price. Love it just wish it had better build quality and a better way to control the light but compared to the Amaran 300C this is £150 cheaper and a no brainer

Very bright and vivid colors and a high cut range in white mode. Bowens mount so it's compatible with lots of Modifiers. The yoke is built well and held some heavy boxes. The nice functionality is impressive and you can. Tap your phone to the light to pair. It comes in a semi rigid case that is small for storage. Only one power cable to plug in and you're good to go. The light is very versatile and also has a good range of effect. The app control is also super intuitive and responsive. I have a YouTube video I made on it for more details.

Let’s start by stating the obvious, the colorway is very cool. It’s superficial but has a similar appeal to the Zhiyun M3 gimbal. Starship trooper white with black accents. As far as build quality, all parts are well put together, tight tolerances with the exception of the tightening handle which has some play to it but that’s because it allows you to pull out and rotate the handle away from the unit. Surely this will not be a deal breaker but I thought it should be mentioned. I’m very picky when it comes to tight tolerances. Moving on, it comes with a very nice travel bag that is well padded and relatively compact. The 300W light output is great. You can attach a light dome via the bowens mount. The external power brick is of a very high quality and has nice custom touches. The knob and buttons don’t wiggle and are well put together. In the sub $500 category, you’d be hard pressed to find a better quality light source. Godox is now a trusted brand, and this Litemon LA300R is a great option.

Beautifully designed light thats very easy to use via the buttons on back or the app. Navigating the hardware menu is easy as you practice but I suggest the app as the controls will face away from you if the light is up and facing down towards your subject.I found all the light color channels and even effects to be very pleasent. The fan isn't overly loud either, though it is noticeable.It does require its own power brick which is supplied, but if you have any issues with it be prepared to have that as a potential failure point for maintenence.The only thing I didn't care for was the hyper reflector. It's extremely spotty. Unfortunately it comes in that cool white color that matches the light so using a standard reflector made it look a little meh.This is a good light. A little pricey though and a lot more pricier if you want to make it portable. The vmount adapter and the proper vmounts that fit this have a huge cost of entry compared to powering smaller led lights.
