This may be the best universal sized bracket style mount on amazon (one where each side is attached independently, and so it can fit various sizes of devices).These are well built steel brackets, decently powder coat painted, and the included pads (which you have to stick on yourself) are attached to all three contact surfaces, preventing scratches on your devices. Additionally, they include some double sided sticky dots that are used to hold them in place while you drill the mounting screws in (i.e. you stick them to the bottom of the desk to get them just right, and secure them with the screws once ready without needing a third hand, or to flip the desk.)Regarding thickness of devices that can fit, the laptop pictured here is a 15" mobile workstation, and about twice as thick as normal laptops. Even so, there is plenty of room to slide the laptop in and out when I need to commute with it.Also, this is the model with the headphone bracket. I've enjoyed it, and mount a wireless on one side and a wired backup on the other (visible here). There are more aesthetically pleasing options, but it certainly does the trick, and I don't imagine it will give me problems.

Simple. Sturdy. Well designed. Felt padding, actually foam cut perfectly for self-attachment.Had to position 3 times to get it right. Don’t for get about the cable you’ll plugin.Highly recommend.

I purchased a $400 dock from Brydge technologies in cash back rewards from Apple Card. Brydge went bankrupt and didn’t give me my money back nor the product.Since I was out $400 ($20 for shipping) I looked to Amazon for a much cheaper alternative.This product plus a usb-c to DisplayPort HDMI was all I needed for a laptop to monitor setup.It was too easy to install. literally traced my laptop out under my desk in sharpie, traced the three brackets out, pre-drilled then screwed with the shorter screws provided. While laying down under my desk I used my fingers to pull up my upper half of my 210 pound body and it held up!It is safe to say that this buy will not disappoint you, nor burn a hole in your wallet. 10/10 one million percent

I have researched for the best heavy duty metal brackets for installing my Dell XPS-13 laptop under my 47" black pneumatic desk. I have found many of them, but after reading the reviews about people's laptops getting scratched as they slid the laptop inside the brackets, I decided to be extra careful on my selection of the "right" metal brackets.It took about two days to find the right "brackets" that included felt pads with adhesive that are installed on all sides of the inner bracket. Well, these brackets had it all! They were thick and heavy, sturdy with good screws, and had the felt pads too! The brackets were installed with the felt pads. I am pleased to say that I am happy with my purchase. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BRACKETS.UPDATE:09/04/24I have since then replaced these brackets for basically the same type but 3" deep because I had to install a laptop cooler custom modified in the same space to cool my Dell XPS 13, therefore needed more space for the laptop cooler and laptop with room to spare. Overall the original brackets worked well and plan on using them for other applications.
