Instructions literally say you'll hear the sound "ka" what even is that?

So, overall, the instructions could be better. I had extra items provided for assembly which I did NOT use - plastic clips and traditional screws. What I used were the fixed screws (the one's you use the power wrench to screw in), the hard plastic shell, the stainless steel mount, the adjusting screw (goes on the back of the stainless steel mount so you adjust to the width of the door), and the larger contact area (screwed in on the inside of the stainless steel mount to keep the doorbell mount affixed to the door). I don't know why the extra items were included as they were not used in assembly. Maybe they include them in CASE you need them or maybe someone wants to permanently screw this into a door - only thing I can figure.Took a bit to figure out with having the extra items as I've always thought you needed to use all items included for assembly - guess not.

Does exactly what I was hoping it would do. Allows me to adjust and record from various angles on either side of my apartment door. When it comes time to remove the doorbell for charging, you will need the original key that came with your Nest Doorbell, you simply slide it into the slot on the top of the mount and apply pressure. You will feel the camera come dislodge from the mount. The manufacturers need to add these instructions as it seems a lot of folks are confused about that.

This works great for its intended purpose! No holes/drills way to use a Google nest.There are no good instructions provided on how to assemble, but if you figure it out it works great

This is a great anti theft mount for google Doorbell Battery! It fits great in my door and doesn’t cause any issue opening or closing. The only downside to this is 1) the directions are horrible like others have said and it does not tell you how to get your doorbell out of the point. You need to use the little skinny tool that comes with the doorbell on the top to push it out of the casing. That is the downside to this mount is if someone has that key to push it out they can just come up to your door and take it out that way. Very small chance but still a reality
