Yes, my head is large. Very large. I have to order the largest size of anything that goes on my head and still they often are too small. But this fits fine. I use it to swim in a local lake along with neoprene body suit in the fall and winter before the lake ices up. This cap keeps my head from getting that ice cream headache. This was a trick I learned while river kayaking in the winter.

This cap covers my ears totally when I swim. It doesn’t shift or raise up. Swimming is much more enjoyable without water pouring into your ears. I wish it came in different colors because I would buy several!

This fit well and kept my head warm in the pool on the very windy days. I believe it helped keep my body warmed too.

I have a 22” head and full beard. Fool hood was very uncomfortable, this was very comfortable. I haven’t used it yet, in water, but seemed warm enough. I’ll update after the next dive.

Wants to sit a bit far back/high on the forehead, but works regardless.
