Put the new laser in a Sony cdp-c77es and it worked right away. Best RF diamond waveform on the scope I have ever seen. 1.4Vp-p RF. Also no skipping when tapping the player.

Compré ésta unidad para cambiarlo a mi viejo reproductor Sony, lo instalé, inserté un CD, parecía que todo iba bien, pero me aparece el mensaje, no disc.

I bought this in hopes of reviving an old Sega CD Model 2 that hasn't read discs in probably 20+ years. I popped it in as soon as it arrived and much to my amazement it actually worked. I am honestly over the moon right now. Thank you so much!I first bought one from LiebeWH only to find out that it was a return that was repackaged and shipped out again, did not match the original KSS 240A, and flat out did not work. This one matched the original (except it's much cleaner) and functions perfectly.
