After struggling with muffled recordings on my phone, I upgraded to this dedicated voice recorder and couldn't be happier. Setup was intuitive—even for someone not particularly tech-savvy like myself.The AI noise reduction is what truly impressed me. Whether I'm recording in busy coffee shops, lecture halls, or outdoors, this device filters out ambient noise (air conditioning, nearby conversations, light wind) while keeping voices clear. It's not perfect, but it's a significant improvement.The 64GB storage is more than enough (I record 8-10 hours weekly and barely touched the capacity), and battery life is solid at about 20 hours between charges. My only minor complaint is somewhat slow transfer speeds to my computer.For students, journalists, or anyone needing reliable recordings, this device is well worth the price. The AI noise reduction technology actually delivers on its promises!

Overall I am happy with this recorder. I would be happier if the manufacturer just gave real battery life expectations. I now see this is a new product, available since February 2025 so maybe the line in volume problem is simply a bug they can fix in a newer release. I asked the manufacturer questions but they have not responded. I would like to give it 5 stars but I can only give it 4.5 stars, which is still really good.Pros:• Well built• Small size• Lots of features, some I like are:○ Section playback○ Variable speed playback○ Line in recording○ Built in microphones, stereo recording○ Long battery life. Not 30 hours as claimed but 15.5 hours○ Huge memory for recordings○ Built in speaker○ Built in equalizer○ Gain control○ Volume control• Speaker sounds good• Needed cables are includedCons:• Battery life is only about half of that specified, 15.5 hours.• Recordings from the line in feature need to be amplified by about 316 times to make them audible. I used the freeware Audacity to do this. Recordings using the built in microphone are great and do not need any amplification.• Although it uses a USB-C connector it does not have USB-C speeds. Transfer speeds varied a bit but were around 1.7MBs. It takes about 8 minutes to transfer a 1 hour recording.• Every now and then it loses the date and time. I wasn't able to determine under what conditions this happens because it seems to just happen on its own. Not a big deal since it hasn't happened while recording.

I’m really impressed with how clear the recordings are on this device. The AI noise reduction works great, even in busy environments like classes or meetings. It’s easy to use, super compact, and the 64GB storage means I don’t have to worry about running out of space. Perfect for capturing lectures or interviews on the go.

Super great for recording lectures discretly. I also own a Sony ICD UX 570, and honestly i far prefer this. I lost my original one and have to buy twice now. Be sure to keep tabs on this little fella, but i loved it enough to buy again.Only two small cons: 1) non-removable storage means you gotta remember to empty, i just did 128gb so i wouldnt have to worry, 2)non powered usbc which would be cool for usbc-wireless microphones but its not like anyone on the market is offering this yet; only smartphones and action cameras currently provide this feature.Crazy cool feature: auto-wake-up scheduled recording. Never seen a recorder with this before, i can just program my lecture time of day and duriation and it will start recording on queue.Battery is great, rapid startup, one switch record, fits in with my current usbc cable system; overall i love it. If i could rate 6/5 i would. Just wish i didnt lose my last one.
