my original mechanical locks seized on my 86 dodge d150 and having keyless entry was a huge bonus. bought these and followed some youtube video and got my locks to work again and can unlock from inside the house or across the lot when going places. no more fumbling with keys and getting soaked in storms or fussing with impatient pup to get in truck because i didnt have the keys facing the right way. have a few extra motors in case i need replacements

installing this kit on a 1972 Dodge D100. It looks kinda cheesy but I didn't expect muh for the price and I knew I'd have to come up with some kind of mounting. The kit comes with these 4 little square metal things with screw holes in them and the tiny screws to screw into them. I couldn't figure out what they were for. The instructions are bare minimum and doesn't mention them. 2 of the wires that go to the drivers door solonoid were to short and I mounted the control box at the bottom of the dash right next to the door and they still weren't long enough. The instructions talk about programming the remotes and talks about a programming button which I have yet to locate. Gonna put power to it tomorrow and I'll update how that goes, update: I put power to it and it worked great. there is no programming button, the remotes worked automatically. One review talked about the solonoids not being strong enough but they sounded pretty strong in my old truck and worked flawlessly.

I’ve gotten to different one from this company and they where both crap the instructions are garbage. Hooked everything up right but still nothing this product gets ZERO STARS

This was the cheapest keyless entry system I could find on Amazon with free next day Prime shipping. It arrived promptly and installed effortlessly. Seems to work fine. With minor adjustments/tweaks, easy install into my beater of a Chevy C1500 WT pickup. Recommended.
