Useful for putting serrations on knife edges and to obtain a checkered design similar to a gun hand grip. Double cut top and bottom. Both edges are safe. 20 lines per inch. 1/2" wide x 5/32" thick.

Very happy with this 20 LPI file. I'm being cautious, and staying away from using it on hardened steel, but so far works well on fine grained wood, resin, plastic, aluminum. No broken teeth as some report. Interestingly the two sides of the file have different numbers of rows, though the same spacing.

My first time at knife jimping and this file made it go easy! Cuts good. Only wish it was an inch wide but a fine first file.

great file, a bit expensive. but buy once and last a lifetime.......probably won't last a lifetime with me since i use my tools a lot
