I knew this product before I ordered it, as we use them at work. It was exactly what I was expecting. This is a nice light made of stainless parts, and is frequently used on or around the stepwells on buses. I mounted 4 of these along the bottom of my RV (curb side) to provide low ambient lighting at night. The hood on the light keeps the bulb from shining into your eyes. Although the bulb that comes in the unit is 12V, I replaced it with 24V LED bulbs since my vehicle is 24V. Works great. Grote has a new model out now that comes with LED bulbs in it, but it is 12V only, which I cannot use. I was glad to find this light on Amazon. It is harder to find now than it was in the past. It was a good price and quick delivery.
