I found it very easy to fix my Kubota starter, once the starter was out.

Not quite right in my 22re starter. Tabs fit up with minimal contact and I had to pull it right back out after a few dozen starts. Copper tabs were a different size, specific brand compatibility info needed. Not universal.

Instead of buying a $350 starter / solenoid, I replaced the contacts and worked like a new starter! Easy install, matched perfectly!

Plunger was too short, and contacts were in wrong orientation. Burned a lot of my time and sucked. Got reimbursed, but I still had to do the job.You need the Victory Lap ND-34-LS-SOL to be sure you have the long plunger rather than the short one. it has the long plunger and also comes with contacts in both orientations. You can also pull the starter and remove the plunger to find out, but why do all that work when you the above part will work for either scenario? Just cut the long plunger shorter if needed; it's just a solid metal rod that's easy to cut to size.However if you're 100% certain your starter has the short plunger, I'm sure this kit works great.

Used this on a 1998 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 4x4. Had to replace it without removing the starter from the engine bay. The larger contact in kit was reversed/mirrored compared to the OEM larger contact. I just bent it the opposite way in a vise and it worked perfectly. Maybe the seller could start including two forms of the larger contact.Super fast shipping, good quality.
