ordered the gray set, that is 2 white and 2 gray, of chef dish towel for having as hand towels in the kitchen. very thick and functional. Beautiful towels - very pleased.

These towels look great and get the job done. They are durable and don't take easily to stains.

These are good quality utilitarian dish towels. They are 100% cotton terry cloth and made in Pakistan.I received two white towels and two medium gray towels. Mine measure 16-3/4" x 26-3/4" - a little larger than advertised.I washed the towels as soon as I got them. I would recommend this so they absorb better and also don't use fabric softener on them because they won't absorb as well.On the Amazon product page it notes a couple of times that these would make good gifts. I agree except...when I opened up two of the folded towels there were a lot of different colored threads inside. They came off when I washed the towels but I don't think that would make a good impression on someone receiving these as a gift.

These are ok, but I've removed two stars because I had hoped that the white towels were really light gray (this is described as a gray set, after all), and they are BRIGHT white. This means that they look (and stay) grubby really quickly, particularly if you are using them in the kitchen. As well, all of the towels collect lint, so much so that the white towels came straight out of the package containing (for some reason) red lint. The company actually seems to be aware of this issue because there are washing instructions that specifically refer to the lint.On the plus side, they are thick enough that you could use as hand towels or dish towels if the color doesn't put you off. Still, unless you really want white towels, I would suggest searching for another option instead.
