There are a few things in the description that are a bit off. The "Hub" is described as "Rubber". It's actually some sort of plastic. At least that's what it feels like to me. Rubber would give and have some flex. The hub has no flex or give. I don't believe that it's shock absorbing either. But it's made of the same material as my OEM hub and that's lasted 15 years. You can see from the description picture that the propeller has a bit of a texture on it. My OEM propeller had a smooth surface. I don't know if the texture will benefit me, or cause issues. Water slippage is an issue for all propellers, so having a small amount of texture might actually be good. On the other hand, the drag on the propeller body might cause it to spin slower and might cause additional drag in the lateral plane. The size is only stamped on the side of the propeller. My OEM propeller has the size stamped on the hub face. That's not a big deal, but the side stamp on my OEM propeller has worn and is hard to read. I'm expecting this size stamp will become warn as well.I think it's funny that they throw in a pair of cheap sunglasses. They have a nice frame, but the lenses aren't polarized. I can't imagine wearing non-polarized sunglasses on the water. So it's not likely I'll ever wear them.

This was a great choice for the prop on the boat. When I bought the boat the prop was pretty damaged as if he had taken it as little to close to shore or up in the rocks. I thought about getting it fixed but came across this and said let me just give it a shot. Worked perfectly and didn't break the back with this one. The all aluminum is what I wanted in case I got into something like he did as least the prop takes the damage and not the motor. The blades were all aligned as they should be and worked like a champ. If you are looking for a new prop and have not looked here you might want to as you might just be surprised what you will find.

PROS: Good overall value for a replacement prop or to try different sizes out (before springing for a stainless one), lit's lightweight, well made, has good balance (no vibration), fits fine, comes with hub kit and prop center hole will take other standard hub kits for other engines, nice water repellent powder coating appears durable, no signs of peeling or waging damages after running at all throttle levels. CONS: Not as smooth a gloss painted alum or polished stainless) , also Did't improve my low or high end performance, (had a 15x15 and was looking for more low end power (14.5) and more high end speed 19), but, it provided almost identical performance on acceleration and was within 1 mph (lower) on top speed.
