The colors are beautiful. Unfortunately, when used to make trains of ten to work with place value, the trains kept breaking. Also, what a mess when they carried them from place to place… kept breaking onto the floor. I am VERY disappointed that they do not stay linked as my 30 year old set did.

These cubes are excellent. They are easy to put together and take apart and are compatible with Didax unifix cubes. They will be used to help children practice place value tasks and regrouping in addition and subtraction. Unlike the typical rigid place value blocks, children can physically add or remove cubes to form groups that correspond with place value tasks and equations, providing a more concrete understanding of the concepts.

The blocks are convenient for mathematics classes and easy to take apart and put together for little hands. There is also a range of colours!

Easy for my students to use, however they fall apart easily. We had to press them together with extra force and be really careful when passing them out and collecting them.
