A lovely little traditional toy which was a great hit with my grandson. Easy for little fingers to hold and very sturdy against all the bashing he likes to do!

初めての車の玩具で、耐久性もあるものがいいなと思い、こちらにしました。木製で暖かみがあり、パッと目に付く赤色で、大きさもあり、とても良いと思いました！これから遊んでくれるのが楽しみです♪

Hape International toy line has once again impressed me of the quality of their toys. We have had this particular line up of toys for just over a year and it shows no signs of cracking, chipping or color fading. My 14 month old gives these toys a hard thrashing! My wooden floors are showing more wear than these toys.This line up has 6 pieces to its entire set. Pieces range from $11 to $13 (free shipping), I was able to collect the entire set for under $90.00. Its not cheap, but these toys are meant to last. Once my kid grows out of it, it is a nice memorabilia piece to keep or pass it down to his children. The true benefit of quality built wooden toys is ... durability!I bought this particular piece when he was approximately 10 months old. He had issue picking it up, but was able to cradle his palm ontop of the toy and slide his little fingers in the opening so that he could slowly move it around. He had so much enjoyment when he was able to move it back and forth. Its simplistic design what makes it such a nice piece. Sometimes it nice to step away from all the flashy lights, metallic shiny colors, or noisy little extra gadgets and just let his imagination make up the story.I have been VERY happy with the Hape Toy line and would suggest their products. My 11 month old son has recently started playing a lot with things that roll - toys with wheels, balls etc. I wanted to get him some cars that were toddler sized, sturdy and cute - but not gaudy with a lot of annoying lights and needing batteries. I wasn't impressed with the quality of most of the plastic toys I saw but I have loved this line of cars from Hape.The toy is a sturdy piece of wood, bright red, rolls really smoothly across the floor (and the coffee table and other flat surfaces that my son decides to roll it on) the "windows" are perfect for a toddler to grab and he likes to push it and watch it rock too. You can easily add a string and use it as a pull toy for early walkers as well.
