Works good once you get it setup but I believe the setup is to much of a pain.

I'll start by saying that the unit I received originally didn't turn on at all, and I thought I was going to have to return it. When it was powered on, it would immediately throw an error message saying the temperature was too high, and then it would immediately shut off again. After a little bit of research, I learned that sometimes projectors will have a short or disconnect in the circuit that communicates between the temperature sensor and the control board. With nothing to lose, I undid a few screws on the bottom and opened it up. The pin connector on the temp sensor was a little bit loose, so I pulled it out and re-seated it. The projector immediately turned on once that was done, and it works just fine now. The brightest setting isn't very bright, but in a room with the lights off and shades closed, it's definitely visible enough to be able to watch a movie or play a game on. I plan to use it for outdoor movie nights, since it came with a large cloth screen as well.

We got this to show movies up by the pool, sort of in the background and the included 100 inch screen was a nice addition to just place on the shed with included clips. I was thinking to show movies off my phone but of course you can't because of copy write issues not related to the projector. This is bright, clear and after hooking it up to my laptop, just fine. Bluetooth is only for connecting to a bluetooth speaker or system. A bit neat and odd at the same time. The remote doesn't come with batteries and that's a huge pain these days. Everything comes with batteries...I bought the $11 cord to hook up to my phone, but in the instructions, it explains that most video won't work off the phone. A bit too late. There is no mention of that in the description, and maybe it's a well known fact. Since I can beam my video to my tv, I thought this would be the same. It's not. That all being said, hook it up to your laptop and everything is just fine. The movies were clear and the included screen was ok. Nothing is going to be perfect with a fabric screen but for us watching old movies, it was fun.

I did not know what to expect in a projector at such a low price point. But once I got it connected to a video source and tried it out, I was impressed. And still am.It's not perfect ... the keystone adjustment is rather primitive, which limits you somewhat on how much of an angle you can project the image from. But if you're able to have the projector centered on the screen (left to right) and not too far above or below the center, you'll see a strikingly good picture. Colors are good, and the picture is sharp with good contrast.I didn't use the included "screen," which is more a cloth than a real screen - though in a pinch it would certainly work. Instead I bought a better screen which made the projector "shine." It looked as good as others I've seen and used that cost far more.I connected an Amazon Fire Stick to the input in order to try out some football games - they looked great on the 120" screen I used. Even the sound is decent, though I would only use the built-in speaker in a pinch. It does get fairly loud, but it wouldn't be that great for a true outside movie night. It was surprisingly decent, however ... would be fine for a quick setup. The Fire Stick remote can be paired with the projector, by the way, using the brand Yaber. I had to go through the connection test twice before it worked, but after the second time it worked fine and now controls the sound and power. Interestingly, the brand listed here, which is Happrun, does not show as a brand on the FIre Stick manufacturer list. Nor does it appear on the box or the projector itself.Oh, and it's an LED, so hopefully the projection bulb will last a while. I did not see any way to change it if it does go out, but the cost of the projector is not much more than some bulbs for other brands.Perfect? no ... but it's far better than the price suggests. I think for an outdoor family movie setup, this will work quite well.
