So far so good. These knee pads offer a great quick deployment feature allowing them to only have to be sized once and then they just snap into placethese are comfortable for long amounts of time as far as knee pads go and offer some great protection. I've worn them for up to 5 hours at a time playingairsoft and they were more comfortable than many knee pad product I've tried before.PROS:Quick deployment strapsRubber traction on knee padHard Polymer protectionAnti-microbial fabricCONS:Uncomfortable after long periods of time (but what knee pads aren't)

These are very comfortable and offer good protection. I've used these during tactical and range training for mobility and off balance drills and they worked great. They fit well over clothing and are decent to use bare armed. They did not cut off my circulation at all once I got them adjusted, which you can do fairly easily on the fly.

I was disappointed with several aspects of this product. The hard plastic plate is acutally not that large (or long), providing only point protection for an elbow. The strap system is thin, and instead of two separate straps they are connected by a swath of fabic that covers the inside bend of the elbow. This bunches rather uncomfortably. The padding is also thin. Returning this product.

On my knees a lot in a game of airsoft or while gardening, and even while rollerblading... These breathe, are quick release, remember your settings from your last use, and take a beating. They're comfortable and affordable considering how important your knees are. This is a must buy for a tactical loadout, or for every day activities.Great kneepads!

The ridgid, peaked knee cap on the Xtaks require you to balance on that peak while kneeling. If you shift the angle of your body, the peak on the knee pad causes the pad to slip to the side. Thus, you have to constantly focus on making sure that you are putting your weight straight down on the pad, and in turn, it is impossible to shift weight and adjust in order to get into other positions. Using the Xtaks feels like you have a square block strapped to the center of your kneecap. They just don't work. I bought a pair of Altas instead.
