Love the concept but it did not work for my dog.

Brought home a 7.5 week puppy a few days ago & he's had the hardest time accepting his sleeping crate. He cries & howls. all. night. long. This was recommended to me yesterday morning, came same day! We FINALLY all got some sleep last night!! Thank the lord. At first he was a little unsure of the heart beat but when he passed out & was put on it he stayed zzzzonked out. Went from screaming every 45 mins to only waking up for 2 potty breaks. It's like a crate mat, has grippy material on the bottom & the heart beat device goes inside the head (can be felt throughout the blanket). We paired with classical music and another fluffy little dog plushie, he was very happy. Absolutely get this product if you think it could help!!! Thanks to this purchase, I'm well rested & in a fantastic mood today lol.

I actually have bought this twice as gifts for new puppy moms so I can’t speak to cleaning and such. But both moms have said it worked well in acclimating their pups to their new homes and helped the puppies sleep. One pup won’t go to bed without it and goes to get it at bedtime. So I’d say it’s worth the price and it is super cute too.

WARNING!! Blanket may cause unbearable cuteness.We recently had to put one of our dogs down. The little guy in the picture and he were "brothers" for the past 16 years, so the loss was great for all of us. They slept together napping during the day, so we were looking for something that might satisfy that closeness he felt with the other dog. We've tried everything to console the little guy through the transition period, but this blanket by far has been the most helpful. It took him a couple of days to get used to his blanket having a "heartbeat" but once he did, he took right to it. In fact, if we even go to adjust it, he hops up to protect it. The blanket is now his.It's soft and not so big that it becomes intrusive of his bed or other blankets. The heartbeat is also just right - not too heavy and not too faint. We've not yet washed it but plan to either spot clean or hand wash, given the recommendations by other customers. The 2-AAA batteries have actually lasted quite a while (the blanket is on during the night and maybe 5-6 hours during the day) and with that, the batteries lasted 3+ days. We ended up purchasing rechargeable batteries, so the operating cost would be minimal.We really do recommend giving this blanket a try.

Super soft, puppy adores it from very first night. However, the first time I washed it all the inside stuffing became clumped up and we can't access it or get it to flatten out. I guess it's spot clean only - which is highly impractical for natural puppy mishaps. Lovely idea - but would have been better with a removable insert to make it truly washable.
