Good build quality for the price. Used it to gap some rings in a 5.0 Coyote with no issues.

Works exactly like it should. No, it's not "shop quality" but it's a small fraction of the price of one, and I'm not doing a couple motors a week with it.It's not perfectly smooth turning the handle, but I'm only filing a couple thousandths off and it does that just fine. It positions the ring so that the edge hits the wheel perfectly flat on either side and the grinding wheel isn't so course that it shaves off too much making me overshoot my desired measurements. And it's not so fine that it takes an hour to grind off a thousandth or two.The base is nice and solid with mounting holes. I mounted mine to a 2x4 so I could clamp it in my bench vice. It's solid as can be and isn't a permanent fixture on my bench. My greatest complaint would be that you have to drive a splined pin out to remove the shaft if you need to change the grinding wheel or, like me, add a bit of grease to the shaft. A threaded pin would have made this 100 times better. And honestly, as well as this works for the money, I would have given it 5 stars if not for the pin. Most likely, in the near future, I'll add a 14x18x10mm bearing to the side with the handle and a 12x14x10mm to the other side and change the pressed in pin to a threaded pin. This will add about $10 to the total cost plus about an hour to install. But those two mods will make this an absolutely rock solid piece for my home shop.
