Watched a Berm Peak Youtube video where Seth reviewed this and other cheap tools and he ranked this the best so when I saw it available in my Vine items I jumped on it. Actually getting a new BB tomorrow so I'll get a chance to try it out for myself. It's a really nice looking tool. All the edges look clean so it shouldn't scratch the new BB (although who cares, I'm a MTB rider and everything is scratched). Seth's only complaint was the length and it is shorter than my other tool however being able to use it on five different BB sizes is nice. For my second bike I won't need to mess with that Shimano adapter anymore.Update 8/12/24 - tried using the tool this evening to replace my SRAM GXP BB and no joy. The tool barely made contact with the notches on the bearing cups and slipped right off when I attempted to apply any measure of force. Went back to my old tool and will keep this for art unless it works better with the Shimano BB.

BB wrench is a must have for any home bike mechanic, it simplifies life. This tool is amazing quality, fit and finish is top notch and it works great (I have shimano BB) for removing/installing the BB. I just wish I know about this tool years ago, it is a staple in my tool box. Highly recommend for all who work on their own bikes. Amazing product.

This is a clever all in one BB tool that will work on all outboard bottom brackets. So far I used it on BB386, T47 and good old BSA. After about 5 uses, there is slight wear on the tool around the notches so clearly its not meant for any regular, heavy duty usage but for a home mechanic who works sporadically on bikes/bottom brackets this is a perfect (and cheap) tool to have than collecting 15 different tools and attachments. The color is rather attractive and probably unnecessary for a tool like this but nice to have. Machining on all the notches is pretty good quality but its the material that could have been harder. I am yet to see any "slippage" though. Time will tell how long it lasts.Another thing that would have preferred but might have increased the price is the handle size. For really right BBs you wish it had a longer handle for better leverage. The handle is enough for new installation but for old, rusted BBs that are stuck you might need a cheater bar.

This bike tool has proven to be an essential addition to my maintenance toolkit. This multi-function wrench supports various bottom bracket standards including Shimano, SRAM, FSA, Rotor, Chris King, and Truvativ GXP, covering a wide range of bikes and ensuring compatibility with most setups. The build quality of the tool is impressive. It feels sturdy and durable, capable of withstanding the torque required for bottom bracket installation and removal. The ergonomic design and comfortable grip make it easy to handle, even during extended use.One standout feature is the versatility provided by the 12/16-notch design. This allows me to tackle different bottom bracket types without needing multiple tools, which is both convenient and space-saving. The wrench fits securely and engages well with the bottom bracket, ensuring a smooth and effective operation. However, one minor drawback is that the wrench might require a bit of extra care to avoid slippage, especially on older or heavily worn bottom brackets. Ensuring a firm grip and proper alignment can mitigate this issue.Pros:Versatile Compatibility: Works with a wide range of bottom bracket standards including Shimano, SRAM, FSA, Rotor, Chris King, and Truvativ GXP, ensuring compatibility with most bikes.Sturdy Build: The tool is well-built with sturdy materials, capable of handling the torque required for bottom bracket installation and removal.Ergonomic Design: Comfortable grip and ergonomic design make it easy to handle and use, even during extended maintenance sessions.Multi-Function Design: Features both 12 and 16-notch options, allowing for versatility in tackling different bottom bracket types without needing multiple tools.Cons:Potential for Slippage: May require careful handling to prevent slippage, particularly on older or heavily worn bottom brackets.Limited Color Options: The tool is available primarily in red, which may not suit everyone's aesthetic preferences or match other bike tools.Size Consideration: Due to its size and design, it may not be as compact or portable as some other bike tools, potentially requiring more storage space.Overall, this tool is a reliable and versatile choice for bike enthusiasts who perform their own maintenance. Its robust build, ergonomic design, and compatibility with various bottom bracket standards make it a valuable tool to have on hand for any bike repair or upgrade project. Highly recommended for its quality and functionality.

Ok, I won't get that dramatic, but definitely super nice to have. The fit and finish is really nice for the price point. I have used 2 different sizes so far, so can only speak to those of the total 5 sizes on here. Worked great, but be careful on stubborn bottom brackets. I could see this slipping easily. For a home mechanic, this is nice that it covers multiple standards.
