These pages are a calming kind of fun to paint, with the colors being hidden in the black lines and exposed by painting over them with a wet paintbrush. Definitely not for those who want to pick what colors they get to use, but knowing that ahead I think part of the fun of these is revealing the colors that are in the lines. They'd be great for a minimally messy way to entertain kids, or a relaxing activity for adults to complete - I truly believe these pages are great for all ages!

I know the recommended age for these is 8+, but my 3 (almost 4) year old daughter tried her hand at painting a couple of these pages the other day and she had a blast! It kept her occupied trying to stay within the lines of the different sections, as she didn’t want to have the different colors mix. The colors are vibrant and perfect for the ocean theme. Super easy to use - all you need other than the painting page and the paintbrush (included) is a cup of water. The paper is also quality paper … very thick, so the water/paint doesn’t bleed through.

My 6 yo really enjoyed this kit. Couldn’t be simpler to use, with results to be proud of.

My Grandchildren love this. Better with the older one. The little ones add to much water but the pictures are great.

I always like these as a kid, however, my 10 year old granddaughter didn't. She said she wanted to pick the colors and was not entertained. Go figure.
