Having two male cats with some different problems (digestive, urinary & plaque) proved to be an issue when it came to finding the right food. Started on this a few months back and very happy with the quality and my boys seemingly like it! Really has helped with the tummy troubles!

We adopted a Maine Coon boy, 10 years old. When he came to us he was underweight and had HORRIBLE GAS, SPLATER POOPS, AND LOOSE POOPS. He was a military kitty, so he moved a lot with his first family, and I believe he has an almost IBS type issue with his guts because of that. This diet has helped him SO much and his poop is a million times less stinky, his gas is waaaaay better, and his stools more formed as they should be. He will still have an occasional pudding stool, but he's having some formed as well which is a HUGE improvement and he has gained weight back and looks really good!

He comprado este producto en varias ocasiones y la última bolsa que compre aparentemente se veía bien pero tenía un olor distinto, mis gatos no querían comerlo y lo poco que comieron les produjo vómito y una fuerte infección, a pesar de que la tenía bien la fecha de caducidad. No sé si cambiaron los ingredientes o se contaminó con algo el alimento al empacarlo. Definitivamente dejaré de darlo a mis gatos.

ideal para cuidar el peso de los gatos y no afectar su ingesta calórica.batallaba mucho para mantener el peso de mi gato, y cambiaba constantemente de alimento hasta que un buen veterinario me prescribió este alimento; un giro de 180° en la salud de mi gato.

Mis niñas lo aceptan y con una pequeña porción quedan satisfechas, me gusta porque sus riñones no se dañan y mantienen un peso controlado, lo recomiendo ampliamente

I have a big stray male cat that adopted us several years ago. He has had some issues with crystals in his urine and bladder, so much so that I had to take him to the vet to get unblocked surgically. They recommended this food, so we tried it. I was also told that his being overweight had a lot to do with him developing those crystals. Thought we would get results with this food since it was a prescription diet recommended by a vet. Kept feeding him this food for quite some time, in spite of the costs, but he did not lose any weight whatsoever.I did some research on my own, and found that increasing his fluid intake would be beneficial with treating and/or stopping the crystals from forming. So, we have switched to a much less expensive brand of dry food, and he gets some wet food now too. He seemed to have dropped a bit of weight, and we've not had any other issues so far with him developing more crystals. I make sure that he gets the wet food for the moisture content. And occasionally I will wet him down just a little bit so he has to clean off the water, which again increases his fluid intake. These steps have worked for us, without having to spend so much on his foods. They say simpler is better, but when you look at the ingredient list for this food, it is anything but simple! So much of the primary ingredients are just fillers like, brewer's rice is the first on the list. Then it's corn gluten meal, chicken meal, whole grain corn, whole grain wheat, pork flavor and on and on. No real meat. Cats are carnivores first and foremost, they need meat to be primary in their diets. Chicken is listed sixth in the list, out of ten primary, then it's listing all of the supplement ingredients, of which there are many. I'm just not comfortable with that, especially for the price they are charging for this inferior food!! If you are told by a vet that your pet needs this, or any other commercial diet, please research for yourself. Ask yourself if you would eat it, if not, then don't feed it! If meat was the first ingredient, then perhaps the cost would be more understandable. But, as chicken is the only meat in the formula, and not the main ingredient, I just cannot justify the costs. Especially when I have had better results from doing my own research and choosing what I feed, and how I take care of my family. Yes, all of my furbabies are members of my family.
