Both kitties love this kibble but one has no teeth and the large pieces are too difficult for her to swallow. I soften it with water and she eats it up. They do better on this food than the sensitive stomach version, less vomiting and diarrhea with the multi benefit!

A mi gato le encanta, a veces se aburre del sabor pero en general es el que más le gusta y que no le causa problemas de digestión.

Edit:Unfortunately, Hills Science Diet changed the size of the kibbles so my Bengals will no longer eat this food. Bengals (at least mine) will not eat food that is too large or not shaped like a star so they can easily crunch it into smaller pieces. I had been using Hills Science Diet for years so it's unfortunate they made this change. I'm posting a picture showing the old size (on the left) and the new size (on the right).---- Old review ----If you have a Bengal and have come to believe (as I did) that they are the most finicky cats in the world then you should try this food. I came across an article that explained that Bengals, which evolved from a different breed than 99% of other domestic cats, have a different shape to their jaw which makes it difficult for them to chew the round kibbles used by most cat food companies which get caught in their throats. The answer is to feed them kibbles that are star-shaped since it's easy for them to chew and this food by Science Diet is highest quality food I've found with star-shaped kibbles. Give this a try if you have a Bengal that walks away from every other dry food you've given them.

A mi gato le fascina, lamentablemente tuve que cancelar la entrega programada porque no respetaron las fechas de entrega. Fueron posteriores a lo que esperaba.

Pros:- The cats enjoy the taste- It contains Carnitine to protect against obesity, diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiomyopathy, fatty liver syndrome and hyperlipidemia, all probably brought on by eating too much grain.Cons:-Although made in the USA, the ingredients are from ‘global sources’ and they do not name these so I can’t trust them.- in my opinion, it contains far too many fillers and grains.I have a multi-cat household – two adult males about three years old and one senior at nineteen years. Currently they are eating the Hill's Science Diet Adult 1 - 6 canned and a little of Hill's Science Diet kibble hairball version and they enjoy it. Their main diet is Hill's Science Diet Adult canned minced food but I leave a small dish of kibble out as well and use it for treats.I don’t quite understand how this is different than their other cat kibbles. They say It’s specially formulated to support ideal body weight for cats with different body conditions but don’t explain exactly how unless it’s the addition of carnitine.Yes, the main ingredient is chicken but the next are brewer’s rice and corn gluten, then powdered cellulose – a filler, sort of like sawdust – it’s made from wood pulp or bark, or other plant material - then wheat, then wheat gluten. I’m not thrilled with the high amounts of grains and gluten. Cats are pure carnivores - yet my vet recommended this brand. I don’t understand why. But they do like it.I’ve noticed that when they were on kibble exclusively they put on a lot of weight. Maybe it’s the grains. Also, although this product is ‘made in the USA’ according to the bag info, it is made from ‘global ingredients’, some or all of which could be from China or other unwanted sources. It has a minimum of:30% crude protein,9.5% fat, between 6.5 and 9.5% crude fibre, maximum 10% moisture andvitamins E and C.It also has minimum 300ppm of carnitine which is not recognized as an essential nutrient by the AAFCO but which is used as a supplement for the treatment of obesity, cardiomyopathy, hyperlipidemia and diabetic ketoacidosis, which are conditions found in both dogs and cats. It appears to be effective for the treatment of fatty liver syndrome in cats when administered with choline (there is no choline in this food). So this is a welcome addition especially when cat foods are loaded with carbs and cats are putting on weight which could lead to diabetes and fatty liver. They say it contains no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Fat and vitamin E are the preservatives. The kibble I am using currently supplementing with is the Science Diet hairball version. Haven’t seen a hairball since they began eating it and they like it, most likely due to the higher fat. They also like the multi-cat version.Bottom Line: The cats enjoy it, but before I keep feeding them this I want to know precisely who these ‘global sources’ are and which of the ingredients they supply. I am also going to have to reduce the amount of kibble I leave out. I thought they’d need it for their teeth, but they are getting fat. For three cats, I leave a half cup for the whole day to be shared by all and they mainly eat a can a day each of soft. So they aren’t overeating – it has to be the carbs. They were slim before I added kibble to their diet.Bottom line: The cats like it, but the ‘global sources’ need more investigation before I can feel good about feeding it.
