TDS = Sólidos Disueltos Totales, que es cualquier sal, metal o mineral en el agua. Con solo pulsar un botón, el ZT-2 puede indicarle su nivel general de pureza del agua, que se mostrará en la pantalla en ppm (partes por millón). Cuanto menor sea el nivel de TDS, más pura será el agua, con 0 ppm siendo puro H2O. El ZT-2 es ideal para comprobar la calidad del agua del grifo o saber cuándo cambiar un filtro. (El medidor no prueba contaminantes biológicos.)

This really does work very well- I constantly test water when I fill my water bottles at the local Walmart and this comes in handy to check every so often - I test the tap water with this vs bottled or reverse osmosis and the tap water loses every time

I use my Zero water filter for my everyday drinking water source and for making making coffee. Its essential to periodically monitor the water with the Zero Water TDSmeter-20 ZT-2 Electronic Water tester to know when to change the filter.
