I've broken three stitch fingers in the last few months. Never knowing why they keep breaking.I've had to run my machine without them most of the time.Problem solved.It turns out that when I set the stitch width to its widest on my brother 1034d, it is just a tad too wide and the stitch finger gets hit and breaks.So now I've learned to not make my stitch with the widest. Instead of number seven for width, I use six or less. I haven't broken sinceBut I'm going to buy a few extra stitch fingers just in case!

Not as advertised. This stitch finger did NOT fit my Brother 1034D serger. I compared the HoneySew product I received against my original Brother 1034D stitch finger and the HoneySew version is slightly shorter, hence it is not long enough to sit adjacent to the fingers on the needle plate. This HoneySew version is also made of a different material (a shinier metal) than the original. I do not recommend this for the Brother 1034D serger.
