Both definitely hold 8 decks. It takes some getting used to when sliding the cards out, at one point the cards weren't moving forward enough but the top is open so I just slid the back portion forward.The rest of the time it worked.Happy with the purchase the plastic is thick not cheap.

The gravity assisted roller works great, I’ve gotten pretty good at sliding out one card at a time when dealing hands of blackjack to our kids.

Read some negative reviews, read some positive reviews, especially about the card shoe. I tried it out with cheap 97 cent Walmart cards and with my higher end $25 a deck cards and it has worked perfectly every time! Makes my little setup for game night look professional!

The dispenser’s holding piece does not hold.. you have to tape it so that it can hold the cards and roller.. it was one of the most expensive one and probably the worst choice.. and no pads under it… just the plastic frame.. very disappointing.
